In 1992, Elizabeth opened a small shop in Arrowtown with one simple idea: to make elegant clothes for real women.

She had spent years flicking through fashion magazines and noticed the same thing every time. The clothes looked beautiful, but they were made for models, not for the women she saw every day. Women who worked, who raised families, who wanted to feel lovely without having to change who they were.

So Elizabeth started designing for them. Soft fabrics, flattering cuts and pieces that felt as good as they looked. Word spread quickly, and her little shop became the place local women trusted.

In 2010, her daughter Sophie joined her. She had grown up watching her mum work, and she brought a fresh eye: new styles, a more modern feel, and the dream of taking their clothes beyond Arrowtown.

Since then, more and more women from all over New Zealand have found us, trusted us and come back to us. Our little shop is no longer big enough for all of them.

That’s why we’re moving.

Thanks to every woman who has believed in us over the years, we’re taking the next big step: a new, larger home in Queenstown. Before we pack up the shop that started it all, we want to say thank you in the best way we know. We’re offering our current collection at special prices, so every piece finds a new home before the move.

Today, mother and daughter design every collection together. Elizabeth brings over 30 years of experience, and Sophie brings a modern perspective. The idea behind it all hasn’t changed since 1992:
